Smokey Quartz: a fusion we know hasn't been made with Rose and Amethyst yet is because Amethyst said " A Rose Quartz and an Amethyst makes a Smokey Quartz "Β , something a fusion that has been made before with the same gemstones; wouldn't say.Β
But she didn't look like mash up like newly formed Garnet. Steven and Amethyst have a pretty close bond if you think about it. An episode about them realizing they didn't have so far apart problems from each other in the arc with Amethyst getting over about trying to be like Jasper- and not like herself " a mistake "Β
Ruby and Sapphire hardly knew each other when they first formed Garnet, making her look like a mashup of both of them
And Malachite looks like a monster, this is because Lapis and Jasper's personalities and ideals don't get along at all. Lapis said she hated Jasper in Alone At Sea, and said she even loved taking everything out on Jasper.
