Description This is a small colored pencil drawing (ATC size 2.5" x 3.5") of a caterpillar on milkweed. One of the leaves broke off and the caterpillar was drinking the "milk" from the milkweed, thus the name.
I used mostly Prismacolor pencils on this. A small amount of gouche for the milk.

Thank you Claudia! ♥ The next atc that I am going to do is the cocoon (which is the stage it is in now) and then I'm going to try to do it as a butterfly. It is our newest "pet", which we will release after in turns into a butterfly.
