Description

Rosilda became voiceless after her mother drowned herself in the lake. Now Rosilda communicate by writing down her thoughts in a book that she always carries with her. In her paintings, one can also see that her mother is still very present, haunting her. She has seen her many times, like “white shadows”, as she calls them. Her mother once let plant a garden with only white roses, she was told that it would purify the soul.
- Inspired by Maria Gripe.

It's also quite a tragic story, as always when I'm getting inspired by something.

I always enjoy reading the descriptions for your artwork. They have so much emotion and back story to them that makes me love your work even more than seeing it on it's own. You depicted Rosilda wonderfully. I think it was an excellent choice to show her while she is writing in her book with the white roses beside her. Fantastic!
