I guess I don't know the comics that well. The first time I saw the character was a cartoon I watched in the late 70s.

Not from me. But there are a couple of different versions of her. in the old TV show she was a little older. They wanted a turn on for the male viewers and in the 60s that couldn't be a teenager. Most of the time I've seen her portrayed as about Dick Grayson's age.Β

I was a little kid when I saw the old Batman show in reruns, but Batgirl worked for me! She was the only thing I liked about it...
