Thank you, Henry! He looks like he's comfortable on that piece of grass but he actually had to keep getting his balance. They like to be on larger surfaces, like a flower, but I think he'd seen me and wanted to get away. I hope all is well with you!

No, no, no. No trickery! This guy was shorter than the length of an eyelash. The background is just from lavender plants in the distance.
You probably do have them---they're hard to see because they're so small and they freeze when you get near so that you don't notice them, then they move behind or beneath something. I have a miniature rose plant that attracts them but they also like lavender, it seems.
