Feature your friends in a journal; with your subscription and writing skills, I bet you could write some beautiful articles about the art styles you enjoy, as well as what you see around deviantART!! Also you could feature those you enjoy in widgets on your front page... Please don't let my extravagant page of widgets and FUN deter nor frighten you from making your own, I am such a newb/internet illiterate... there are soo many cool journal pages/css out there that are just AWESOME, use them! Spread the positivity as far as you can, that would more than repay him as well as letting all of us see your awesomeness!

Thank you so much! Yes, the peacock is regal, airy and elegant, the badger earthy, sturdy and pastoral... They are representations of a couple that I know, this was a present for them!

Why do you dislike such an amazing colour scheme?
The autumn-ish tints do a warm, cozy style :3

Really? To be honest I think it's a little garish, particularly in comparison with the rest of my stuff. Other people certainly like it, though. I have favourite colour schemes and usually like to try and keep the palette simple...
