My impression based on this pic is a Trixie so broken by her own life's events that the mere concept of success seems so unfathomable now that even when the stakes are so low and the odds completely stacked in her favor the idea she can win at anything is like a grotesque joke where her trembling form awaits Fate to snatch victory from her and deliver its punchline the way a drunken reprobate might beat a defenseless child. In short, Defeat, be it an exterior malevolent force or by a subconscious self imposed will, is her only reality now.

That's what I wanted to portray, yes. It made sense to me, seeing as how people for a while saw trixie as a fraud. I imagine it would get to her.
