it did help!

you really have good style, unique! very clean, i guess because you use more 3D-models... mine is more rough and edgy.. but i like yours too!

actually most of my stuff is just painted straight out, to get the hard edge stuff you just erase around the edges after you put all the detail in

took me ages to get it just right though.

your style is nice though man, just has this nice ambience to it, kinda unexplainable.

clever, clever...

put painting straight is the most fun for me too! mostly i dont even erase or use selections, just straight painting...

thanks!
glad you like the style...

Space stations are just one of those things I can't paint if my life depende don it, I always find myself doing mechanical things in 3D, which I guess has its advantes (automatic perspective issues solved and can freely change the lighting scenario) but being able to digitally paint them is vital too

well thi is the first time I have painted anything space to be honest but its not that tough just a good ammount of selection and pentool is the key, I find

well I figured that every artist has their own preferences in photoshop so I try to keep my tutorials very generic.

ah i c.. thats a good solution
but some artists look at tutorials to find a way they could do special effects and for that are detailes information good... you show more the steps of the work i think ^^

Thanks fr posting this It's interesting to see how you work. I was surprised you painted the ship like that. I would have done the overall shape and then added in details in passes. But it worked ^^
