I am going to start with the technique. It really seems that you have mastered coloring and shading. It really looks smooth to my eyes and I feel like am watching something made by a pro.Thus said, i dont really feel any emotions here. I know how your character is feeling but it just doesnt have a huge impact on me. For the originality of the drawing, its not the first time i see that kind of pose or clothes. I do like the theme however, It's nice and simple.
What I would have done, would be to do the background bigger, so we could see a warm sun over her. I think it would add depth to it.
