Probably the best illustration I've ever done, and certainly the least filter-abused.I was preparing to cel-shade it when I decided to try and color over my original linework and do it like a painting... something I've never tried with success.
I'm really happy with how it turned out, enough that I decided to even sign it (/boggle).
It's Battleguard Sartura from The Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40).
I love that raid, even though I never did it at 60, I fell in love with it while grinding my Brood rep... I love how insects look and behave, even if they're annoying.
Anyway, like everything else it was done entirely in Photoshop Elements 2 with my Wacom tablet.
This piece was also denied a place in Blizzard's fanart gallery. Apparently they just hate my art.

they must just want more fanwank of arthas or other stupidass LK characters. god forbid they have decent artwork from pre-BC.
this is fantastic, I love how clean your lines are, and the decision to color it like a painting was a great one; it looks wonderfully detailed.

really? denied?! This is one of the best I've seen that doesn't have such a well known/popular character or race. I love the insects in Warcraft. They are pretty and are colourful. Though, I have yet to enter that instance, Sartura is the prettiest and easiest on the eyes unlike the rest of her species....Though, I am terrified to think of what lies behind the silk sheet covering her mouth.

Yes, despite recieving a confermation email it was not accepted. I like to think it's because she is an older character (since most of the things they add are current) and not a statement about my art.
I drew here 'cause I think she's sexy, lol. I'm really glad we have similar veils now, too.

Oh wow. This is... honestly, absolutely beautiful. There's so much about it to love. The shading is amazing, I love how you did the folds on the dress , the general concept is great, I love the little details like the straps on her clothes and her little feelers. The lightning bugs look great, and the way you did her wings is fantastic.
This is... I'm favoriting this. It is amazing.

When I started the sketch for this it was just from memory, as I'd been farming AQ40 rep for a few weeks; but when it was obvious it wasn't just going to be a sketch anymore I had to go get a screenshot to look at.

Oh wow, this is gorgeous. I don't know what my favorite part about this picture is, but I really do love how her dress and wings look.
I also like how you worked with her scythe-like arms. They seem like they'd be kinda a pain to pose just right and make it look good, and you did it perfectly
There really does need to be more Qiraji art, but really awesome pics like this definitely helps make up for the very little pictures/fics there are of/about them~

Yea I wasn't sure what to do with her arms but before she's in combat they look like little green stubs, I was like "I can do that!" made my life a lot easier lol.
I really love the whole Qiraji Empire feel, it's kinda sad there isn't more fanstuffs of them. And I've got my mallet ready to go in case there's another 3.0 incident with the gong; I'd love to have that Qiraji mount, lol.

Oh man, yes, at the very least I would love it if they made a lvl 85 raid of AQ20/40 in Cata ;-; 
It would also be nice if maybe the non-Scarab Lord mounts would be usable outside of AQ. (Do want to use my red battle tank way more often.)
