Sexy and a little disturbing basically because of the atmosphere that the hotel (or whatever location this is) just seems to exude. Yes it is a bit murky but it just adds to the strange ambiance of the place. I think it's the pipes and the carpeting that just gets me.

I love everything about this. The colors are gorgeous, and the DoF is very well done. The tiny bits of bokeh lighting at the end of the hallway help to balance it out nicely.
And you look very stunning as well.

The color, contrast, the depth of field, a single strong light overhead all work perfectly to create a memorable image of a beautiful woman deep in thought.

So you don't think the hallway's too murky looking? Just seems a bit of a shame to shoot in a divey character hotel and you can't really see it.

Well, images are pretty subjective - even in court cases. I actually like the hallway. It nearly matches scenes from the movie "Domino" - a stylized Tony Scott flick. I'm sure Tony paid a whole lot more to light his hallway though.
