thanks frank.. there is not really a big difference on the skin tho.. the black background does make the skin pop a lot more, so i guess that is what makes it different then my usual renders..

You're welcome. The background does help with "pop factor." But I think the skin in the foreground has more texture also, especially around the knees and ankles. The render looks awesome though .

well there is a lot of detail coming from the indirect lighting, which gives a nice effect on the curve on the knees and such.. so its not really a texturing thing, but more of a lighting thing then.. very glad you like it
