hey.. thank you for the critique.. but im not really agreeing with what you are saying and let me explain to you why.. the whole idea here was to show of the mesh model.. so if you put anything else in the scene it will be distracting and out of place.. also if you create a scene like the example you gave.. a night scene.. then the lighting will be completely different as well.. which also adds a mood and setting to the whole image.. which again creates a distraction.. the other example with flowers is nice but also not really an option because if you add a flowers you will need something from where the flowers are growing out from.. so thats either some sort of flower pot or maybe some grass spots with dirt, grass and flowers.. but again that will be distracting as well.. keep in mind we going for realism here so adding just a couple of flowers to the scene randomly will decrease realism very quickly and thats something we definitely not want.. ..

Awesome! Ps, how do you make a simple background like that? I've tried everything to try and get the background and floor to match with no luck.Ā

it kind depends on what software you are using to render.. but the idea is to make the ground transparent while it still catches shadows

Thank you very much for the link. I've seen the stuff 9MBi puts out before, but I never thought they would render like this. I'll have to give it another try. Thanks again!
