Or they could just, y'know, build a small wall in the tiny, tiny, opening...for 1/16 th the effort to build the city's other walls...???

Nice.
Just wondering, is there a reason for the apparent lack of farmland?

Beautiful Map Robert, I really like this style!Β While the Minotaurs coming out of the maze might be a problem, I suspect they built the wall on the other side of the city because whatever comes out of the cave on that side is much worse.

Maybe the idea could be built out that the minotaur (and maybe other baddies) protects the city from outsiders. The adventurers figure this out, and it's a pretty foreboding encounter when they realize the magical or physical lengths that were gone through to enslave such a beast.

Nice work but if they are being attacked from the maze why is there no defensive structures there to try and prevent that other than a barracks. Would a few layers of walls and towers be a better idea?

Thank you! At the current stage of the campaign there is no wall.

Oh geez. I once had a NationStates region where there was a nation that called itself "Parravon and Lyonesse". The flashbacks are real.

Why don't they put anothe wall in the maze entrance... I mean, it's not that expensive, and they have already walled the other side of the town...

At this stage there isn't a wall.

In my mind, the wall on the other side protects them from what's lurking in that cave, and everyone who's tried to come through the maze uninvited has died (either from being lost, a minotaur, or city patrol) long before they were a threat to make it through to that point. I dig it. The choice to have no wall makes you figure out more about the maze.
