My, oh my. Something semi-realistic from me. The world is ending!...Okay, it isn't. In fact, I had much fun working on this sketch.
There were a bunch of things that inspired this, but mostly it was Xandria's song 'Ravenheart', its title mainly, as she just...popped up in my head after the song came up on my player.

Woooowww... A really different style from your usual fare. Somehow it's all so SOFT.
The over all expression is lovely, she looks so dreamy and content. Love the eyelashes, and the way you drew her lips - very inviting 
The hair is very different. A messy sort of soft, and those feathers fit there perfectly!

I'm surprised that that song inspired this - the moods are so very different in each one. But inspiration works in mysterious ways

Very different style indeed, but she just popped into my mind like this.
Though I found it aggravating that inspiration decided to grace me that day only nearing the night! I had the most of the day free and wanted to draw something, anything, but nothing came out till then. xD
Like I said there were many things that came together to result in this. 'Ravenheart' inspired me with its title and how sweet her voice sounded when she sang the first verse. But also, I'm pretty sure I was greatly influenced by `Saimain 's amazing pencilworks. ;]
