I’m jumping in a little late to the party, but I decided to give the #sixfanartschallenge a try over on my Instagram. First up: Inej Ghafa from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

I had so much fun drawing Inej and experimenting with the painting style and lighting. I’m not completely content with how it turned out though. Inej’s skin tone needs to be darker, which was a struggle to capture with such strong lighting. I’ll definitely have to practice different skin tones and come back to fix this once I’ve had more practice.
