[Week 19/30] - Theme: Blending In
30 Week Project

Thoughts and Description
This was a real surprise and coincidental shot, that fit this week's theme perfectly! Last Sunday while out on a family picnic to celebrate mothers' day, my little brother and I decided to venture off along a path to see what we could find. He enjoys surprise finds as much as I do c:

As I was supposedly scouting for things that caught my eye, my brother pointed out that he saw a butterfly landing among the grass and weeds - wasn't easy to spot and was surely well blend in! Once I saw it, I was not going to miss a rather uncommon opportunity of a beautiful creature sitting still and pretty. So I got totally into it - I slowly lay flat on my tummy in the grass, crawling ever so slowly to get as close as possible to it and took a bunch of photos. When I was satisfied, I rolled over to get up... only to find an English couple staring at me with intense interest wondering what I was doing. It was mildly embarrassing, but funny and worthwhile c':

Anything for a good photo, right?
