Once in a while I always get the urge to take some self-portraits - it's something I can do that requires much less concentration (compared to studying surgery) and more of letting my self and mind go.

Since Summer's come to an end (although this is a pretty warm October which is rather unusual), I wanted to submit something a little autumn-y. Ombre is a trend that's been in for a while now, and so I decided to experiment with it with lipstick colours blended into each other (red and purple) - a warm colour blended into a cool colour, to reflect the change of season which is not sudden but gradual.

Michelle Phan (super make-up artist on youtube) is indeed an inspiration behind this, so plenty credit to her for being so awesome.
