Description Thoughts
Today is one of those days that no matter how hard I try to stop thinking, I cannot. My mind is jumping from one thing to the other, and amongst the things I have been wondering about is how much less feedback I'm getting on my photos on deviantArt. I am aware that I don't upload as many pictures as I used to - and not because I don't have pictures, I have enough to upload a couple every day! It's just that I'm not that motivated to upload as I used to be because of hearing less from the community.

I know I've never taken photos with the aim of just getting lots of favorites, but it is nice to know your photos are being seen, received and inspiring others somehow. Which hasn't been too much the case recently. I also stopped submitting my works to as many groups as I used to, because it doesn't seem like it's worth my time anymore - I don't know how many people actually discover my work through groups after the number of hours I would put in to trying to get my photos out there. The recent big changes in the site may also have decreased the importance many great people still give the site...

I hope I can sort all these thoughts out eventually. For now though, here's a photo of a cute flowerpot that was on a windowsill of a house in Glasgow. I miss walking through the streets of that wonderful city.

Equipment
Canon EOS 600D

Thank you very much for your lovely descriptive comment!

I'm glad you were able to pick up on the withered flower - I tried my best not to crop it out when figuring out the best composition for a similar reason.
