Another in my series of Tolkien-themed paintings that I am becoming quite addicted to. xD
This one took me a lot longer than Bilbo--like 4 hours(ish) total--but I got a bit lazy with the helmet, and was all "eh, I'm done." xD
Next time... Legolas of the Woodland Realm and Gandalf the Grey!

Wow, I have the feeling that you made a giant step from last year to know in reference to painting! It looks awesome!
But...I think there maybe yould be a little bit more texture on his skin and teeth. It looks very smooth and soft^^

The beard.... *shiver* xD The beard took me the longest, next to the helmet.
After painting only a handful of beards, I learned they look way more realistic when there are a ton of tiny strands sticking out everywhere--so I started with wide sections of color for the lighting and literally just drew like hundreds of small sharp lines. Everywhere.
