Whoa, this is awesome! I like how simple some of the lines are, yet so detailled. The idea of the commission is great, haha
The only thing I noticed is that the hand holding the hammer looks a bit feminine for a dwarf..even though, maybe there are feminine dwarfes? >.>

heheheh Thank you! x3 It was really difficult for me to NOT cleanup the lineart (I'm usually such a perfectionist). lol But I wanted to focus on making it rough and focusing on what was important.

It's a cool idea to use the 'not cleaned up' line-art for making it look rough and it for sure worked!
Yeah, maybe you did that. His face looks also like he would be kinda soft
And at least you're able to draw men pretty good. I do have problems with it, since I'm mostly drawign female characters, haha

Hahah I was the same way; I only drew girls for so long. xD I think it's just easier for people to draw one gender over the other.
But eventually I mastered the art of man-bodies, square jaws, and beards. lol
