Description

Commissioned by Rafael Vargas , of his characters Congo and Jura.
Congo is a half-elf mage in search of his human father. During his adventures, he met Jura, a warrioress who seeks justice from a corrupt lord who murdered her brother. They eventually became husband and wife

Technicalities:
Jura was modelled after Yennefer of Vengerberg from the Witcher series mixed with Adriana Lima.
Congo was... err, no reference for that guy. Influenced by Warcraft movie. I think it was a great movie!
As usual, I always mix a bit of realism into my fantasy drawings. No bikini armor, and no 5-inch thick armor or swords bigger than the characters, and all that.
Notice the tiny details: Jura's theme is a lion which represent strength, while Congo's theme is an elk (look at his cloak pin) to represent nature.
The pose also symbolises a theme of "covering each other's backs". Congo's wide arm protecting his lover below him, but Jura's pose gives an impression of a swift, low, close-quarter attack.
