Description With this one, I didn't use a wash with the India ink, but rather tried to creat the illusion of tints and tones by utilizing the spacing of the ink application and the white of the page in oder to render the appearance of lights and darks, so-to-speak, without sacrificing my anal approach to detail.

i too tend to be somewhat anal retentive when it comes to detail. . . pen and ink are good for that because you can tell when you are through. . . other media, like paints and pencils are just not as absolute. well rendered. i like the perspective that you chose.

I admire people with an anal approach to detail, as I seem to have some innate anti-detail mechanism which kicks in and sends me to make a cup of tea when I try too hard. You draw dragons very well, adding this one to my favourites, look forward to more from you and to seeing you progress with the human faces too
