Another dragon of mine, been working on this one for a while. He's supposed to be laying on top of a mound of golden coins...hmmm, not sure if they convey the right idea, they might look like gravel...oh well. Graphite pencils on sketch paper.Related content

Absolutely amazing details and wonderful tones. It looks way more realistic than most other dragons I've seen because of the dinosaur-ish form of the skull, and the form and and presence of the tendons.

Thanks but it's true, my dragons, I could draw them, but I moved to anthros, and I got out of practice. I'm training myself to draw them again. I seem to be stuck on one style of head in particular, it's annoying.
But yeah, I guess that's why comments exist on the worldwideweb. So someone can appreciate it openly...

Wow! Amazing! What dΓ½a mean "supposed" to look like coins - theyΒ΄re more coin-like than anything else...adding you to my favourites! and er...I was wonderinΒ΄ if you (or anyone else out there) could give me any dragon drawing tips. He's a beautifully drawn dragon! I can tell that he's on coins on the larger version, but not for the smaller one. What might help convey that is to have them mound around his body, and some sticking up sideways so they look more three-dimensional. Hope that helps for future drawings--but aside from that, I definately like this piece.

Perhaps someday I'll add color to it...I was afraid to make it bigger since im not that computer savvy, I was thinking it would be too big...I always have a tendancy to over or under do things
