Description
From Brandon Sanderson's The Way of Kings, book one of The Stormlight Archive. It was one of those books that caused me to delay my sleep for hours. Still have no idea how to use colors well, but I gave it my best. Especially coloring Syl and all that light she's supposed to project was a pain in the ass. Hopefully I can look at this after a year or so without facepalming, because these characters deserve to be depicted properly.At least I think I'm learning something every time stuff gets finished.

I actually have a question for you. I am a YouTuber who worked with Brandon Sanderson so that I could start a YouTube series based in his Universe. The show, called "Letters From the Cosmere" uses a character named Aarik who world hops and writes letters about what he has learned about. The best part of this project is that it's a fantastic place to feature Cosmere fan art. The art makes the video much better, and hopefully will bring more attention to the fantastic artists who share their work. I would love to include this fantastic representation of Syl and Kaladin in a future video. I would also be interested in sharing your other Cosmere artworks. Would you allow me to use your work? I will not use it without your permission, and If I do I will make sure to leave a link back to your work in the video description.

one of my friends and i are getting the first ideal tattoos, im getting the bridge 4 glyph with it and hes getting Syl. I think we just found his Syl.

I love how you drew Kaladin and Syl! Just so you know though, since you replied in a comment on guessing what Kaladin's glyphs looked like; the sequel to Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, actually show pictures of the glyph's on his forehead.

I should have guessed it would be there, just so I can look and see how wrong I got it. Well at least I don't have to wonder anymore if I draw Kaladin again.
