Description In honor of our 1983 Toyota Tercel, which at this moment spends its last night in our driveway... *sheds tear*

Hence, these are the family cars (portrayed as dragons of course, I'm not one for drawing vehicles...). The Tercel will be missed, he has been in the family longer than I have (so has the Camry, but we're keeping her until I get my new car when I graduate).

Top left: The one and only, 26 year-old Tercel, who has driven enough miles to have been to the moon. The good ol' crud mobile.

Top Right: 1990 Camry, who is also getting up there both in age and mileage. Sometimes nicknamed "The Breeze" because of her most excellent gas mileage.

Bottom Right: 2004 Subaru Forrester, which is the first car bought in my lifetime. Also the first automatic car we've owned, and the car by which both my sister and I learned to drive. Nicknamed "Bubba Mitzi Kar"... for various reasons, mainly because we felt the need to name the vehicle upon getting her, and coiuld not settle for just one name. ("Bubba" comes from "Forrest Gump", because it is a forrester (ahaha... ha.... ehem...), "Mitzi" because of our grandma Mitzi (Tercel and Camry were the "daddy" and"mommy" cars, so we just put that in to extend the family, I suppose), and"Kar", as a tribute to a character from the most amazing novel "The Sight". It's a car, so why not call it Kar?)

Bottom Left: The 2006 Corolla, also known as "Lola Corolla" or "The Panther" (Tribute to Mike Wizowski from "Monsters Inc.", who exclaimed whilst starting the engine of his new car "It's like releasing a panther....") Still new and fabulous, though the"new car smell" has faded at this point.

Center: The new baby, Kelly's 2010 Corolla, known as "Daphne" or "The Puma" ("Daphne" because I plan on naming my future car "Mariss" (tribute to "Frasier"), and "The Puma" because the other Corolla is "The Panther". The two are related and should be titled as such).

And that is the history of our little family of cars, may the Tercel be driven with care in its new home. We bid our alpha male farewell!

*It should be noted that the species for the Corolla dragons is a replication of one of my sister's species of dragon, the "Agring". I thought it apt to use that type of dragon for her car. The others are made up on the spot, though I tried to make them look similar to the type of car (Hence the bulkiness of the Subaru dragon, being the only SUV of the group).

EDIT: As of January 7th "The Waters of Nyra" has been published! So if you want to read about the Agring Dragons, then go here: www.amazon.com/The-Waters-Nyra…
