β’ Want your own Book of Mudora? Get yours now on Etsy! [link]I finally finished painting the cover for a new version of the book of Mudora I promised *HeroOfHylia a while back. I'm really happy with how it came out after working out a trick to make the gold paint shine properly. :3
What can't be seen in this photo is the side, which reads Mudora as well, and is signed at the bottom. Also, the page edges are coloured gold as well.
For the photo I decided to dress it up a bit, to the right you see the Pendants of Virtue and the Moon Pearl, to the left are a few rupees and a Big Key. Looks like Link is all ready to go get the Master Sword!
About the Text The large text at the top says "Mudora" and the smaller text under the Triforce reads: "zirum ke vihalia,
peia ke kisha"
which translates to "The knowledge of ancient golden times". This is the same text from my first Book of Mudora, save I left off "Book of" above "Mudora" this time around for aesthetic appeal.

Thank you so much! I hope to get someone wanting one a little different so I have more examples, you know? I've made two so far, one for a friend on commission and one for myself- the pic here on DA obviously was the commission/gift and the other pics on Etsy are of mine. :3

Lol which is funny since this book (I'm painting one for myself like it) will be given to a friend and Link cosplayer. You know, he has to be able to translate all those signs around Hyrule when visiting areas that haven't seen the light of day in generations. *nods* ^_^

I did! They're just paper craft (cardboard, sort of paper machΓ© style, not hollow) though. I also made the pendants, though those are just lovely beads I found on leather lace... the Moon Pearl is an actual crystal of mine called Girasol or Girasol Quartz which is an opalescent type of Quartz crystal that happens to be perfect (if you ask me)...and the key is obviously just a key. lol

I wouldn't mind! I still have yet to paint mine, since this one's for a friend... I was going to write some kind of Hylian saying or chant or incantation around the edge of mine, too.. and...shh...I have plans for a "perfect" version...eventually.. hehe
