Sherlock: ???
John: It's ice cream.
Sherlock: Thanks very much for your effort, but I ate already yesterday. And I don't like ice cream at all.
John: Well, I'm sure you will like those flavours.
Sherlock: Never heard of them. "Trust", "Friendship", "Love", "Support"; what should those be? Never even heard the words!
John: Those things are important for every human being- even for ignorant sociopaths like you.
Sherlock: Hm, I think I could live very good without them so far.
John: Yeah, you lived a very lonely life -.- Come on, just try something new!!
Sherlock: I don't think I want to.
John: You will like them, I promise.
Sherlock: Hm.... After all it's still ice cream, and I don't want to end up fat like Mycroft.
John: OH, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST TRY IT, SHERLOCK!!!!

Sherlock is an idiot.
But we all know he is happy that John stepped into his life and taught him to be a bit more "human".
I think it's quite obvious, why I choose Love* etc. as new things John brought into Sherlock's life ; )

*Interpretate "Love" as you like. I didn't mean it in the romantic sense of Sherlock/John, but more for the love in general (romantic, platonic etc.) one has for good friends, family and beloved things (like Sherlock and music or his work).
