Neat! Reminds me of one of my own character who tends to hang out with ghosts. What's up with his shadow hand? What's his story?

Thanks! The shadows are basically ghosts that have managed to take on physical forms (though hardly anyone is aware of the fact) and people avoid them at all costs because they can be dangerous. Ron had an unpleasant encounter with one when he was a child, which is how he lost his arm. Despite the incident, he became even more interested in the shadows and even went out looking for them, which earned him a reputation as a bit of a nutjob. As an adult, he lives in the woods by himself and spends time with the shadows, who are accustomed to him and don't give him any trouble. His shadowy arm is one that they made for him. There's lots more to it but it sounds so convoluted when I type it out haha!

Thanks!! He's just one of my characters. His arm is made out of shadows, like the stuff around him. He's not evil though, I swear :'D

aaaaaaaaah I love this guy so much!! He has such a sweet, determined look about him that is both charming and highly mysterious OuO~ and his bloopy shadowy friends are just eeeee <3. The lighting on this is also quite pretty...OH MY GOSH that stylized lantern light, and also the variety in shades of fleshtone. etc!!

Eee thank you Kite!! u3u I'm glad you like it, he is supposed to be a friendly dude so I am glad he doesn't look scary hehe. I wanted to push myself to try some new things and branch out a bit, I was really enamored with this beautiful piece and wanted to use some of the same techniques and go for the same look. I didn't really achieve that, so in that sense I felt a bit frustrated and didn't think it was very successful v_v but you always make me feel better!! I'm glad you like the fleshtones and the lighting, since those are things I am trying to get better at ;u;
