Hi, did you put the marker or first or after the pencil? if so, what pencil did you use? cuz mine smear when I use them before my markers.

I used a black watercolor pencil first and then prisma pens (watercolor markers) over it. I actually got them to smear on purpose but the trick is to get the tip of the pen lined up against the edge of the shape you're coloring in and use that to smudge the pencil in the direction you want. Thats actually why there are so many different levels of grays in these when really I actually used only 3 for most of them. The watercolor pencil makes a big difference compared to just graphite or normal colored pencil because they react differently to the water color pens.Β

Ah I see, that is a very uncommon technique(as far as I know) and here I am thinking you have this magical pencil that goes along with markers hahah

Hahaha. No just common materials/techniques. I still use mostly printer paper when I'm not doing digital stuff.Β

ah Okay. it is a shame though. pencil lines often have so much more life to them. using marker on them without smudging would be amazing:')

Haha in this case it was actually an improvement having it smudge.Β
