I like how you handed the pastel and minty pallet. I'm not sure if you got this from the nursery or what ahah
I love how soft you made their textures which visually transfers well to a soft (to the touch) and gentle being. The contrast of the smooth body to their almost rough reedy plant is a good visual breakup and adds nice variety. The tail shape is nice too and I like the added touch of the whiskers. They're such a cute accent on the face. Whiskers are very under rated.

Hehehe thankya! Yeah this was a nursery esk c: Was definitely a good challenge. I'm not well practiced with muted pastel colors and there was very little way for me to get any sort of contrast. Really happy with how it came out. I'm glad whiskers were up to interpretation. I couldn't make mammal whiskers feel good on this kid but something more like barbels worked.

I always find pastels a challenge as well. There is something about them if you don't work much with them ahah. Oh yeah for sure on the contrast struggle. The whiskers definitely work. I just adore them ahah
