Lugia won the poll, and I was feeling inspired (!), so here's a fan.I didn't want to make it just Lugia--I love the box cover of SoulSilver, with all the shiny waves like in ukiyo-e paintings, so I wanted to emulate that style. As such, I attempted to draw Japanese-style waves, and posed Lugia like a crane. I messed up on the waves in a few places, but it was my first time trying something in that style--I think it turned out pretty well considering.

Awesome job on this one, just as good as Ho-oh. The crashing waves add a nice touch and seem to emphasize Lugia's mastery and powers of the seas.

I do have some ideas for a Suicune fan. First I think I'll do Ninetales because people are giving me good ideas for that though... but yeah, that mane and those ribbons are awesome.

I have always thought Lugia to be more mysterious and intriguing than Oh-Ho. I don't know why. Something about it to me makes it seem like Lugia would or should be more powerful than the former. Kyogre is amazing. <3
Suicune has always been very majestic looking. It's other two counterparts might be fun to do also. I would love to see what you could do with Raikou. What with the lightning and all. That would be amazing. <3

Ho-oh just looks like an angry bird, while Lugia has that dragon-like expression and is called a bird but isn't... and blue and the ocean and stuff are all associated with emotion and being profound and also calm. I think Lugia just rubs off as more sentient-looking too...
Raikou's hard to draw, and so is Entei, but with enough practice I could totally do something with the three of them. Entei especially would be fun, I think, because of all his fur.

EXACTLY!! Ho-oh also, while the thought of it being all mysterious and being up in the top of that tour, it was just roosting in a tower. Like a giant chicken bird or something. Lugia was stowed away in an underground cave in the middle of a mother friggen ocean, sitting over water at the bottom of the underground, the cave itself situated in the... icy part of the ocean or something. You get the point, I can't remember what the island was called. rofl
I would love to try and draw out some of my own designs. I have always been pretty good. And you could feel free o use them or the ideas if you would like. : D
