I was inspired by the many cool Okami shoes I've seen... so I picked up some cheap black canvas shoes and painted some myself. :3 One shoe has Amaterasu and Issun, the other has Shiranui and Ishaku.That black space in the middle feels kinda void. I might paint a red sun shining between them for unity (and for the heck of it). Not sure yet. They look better when I put them on, at least.
But the inner sole is still blank, so if anyone has any ideas for how to fill that space up I'm open to them. ^^ Meanwhile, I guess I'll be painting my brother's shoes, because now he wants some too--collage style, with a bunch of random images and characters and inside jokes.

Yeah, I was deliberating still between Orochi (because I could do his two forms for Ammy and Shiranui) or just grass and flowers and clover. I may end up doing grass because it's easier.

HOLY CRAP, I want those. O: You did a wonderful job with the opposition of Ammy and Shiranui (and Issun/Ishakku!) and the contrast between their white and the black of the shoes really makes them pop.

That is. Man that's awesome. The pop right out against that deep black, that's fantastic! I love paint on top of felt and that kind of fabric, it really makes the black look so rich
And Ammy and Shiranui are just so detailed, marvelous for being on shoes! haha
For the inner sole... maybe, some Ninetails tails like they're popping out of the ground where you step? hahah Or Orochi heads could work the same way. Or perhaps Lechku and Nechku mirroring each other like Ammy and Shiranui.
I dunno, bosses just seems like a good idea to me, hahah
