Description
That awkward moment when Sherlock retires and spends the rest of his lonely days beekeeping.There's been some depressing fanart flying around for a while - so I drew this to cheer up, and reassure myself that Holmes actually lives (though ideally he wasn't supposed to)
It's also one of the reason why I love The Case-Book (Doyle just didn't even care anymore)

In the original books Sherlock died falling off a cliff with moriartiy but Arthur Conan Doyle was basically harassed into bringing him back so ... Sherlock survived by holding onto a few blades of grass

It's funny because this basically the exact opposite of happens, heΒ likes Mary and she likes him, he even helps repairs John and Mary's marriage, though I'd understand his reaction with any of John's other girlfriends, John had terrible luck with women before he met Mary (Sarah was alright I guess) and generally didn't treat Sherlock very well and expected all of John's attention.
