Description
Example of the binding I'm using for my book. I didn't put a cover on it because I hadn't designed it yet XDBasically, I print out my stuff, cut the pages, and fold them in the center. I then tape the pages together, back to back. The paper I print on is strathmore 300 bristol paper, the same stuff I use for my pencil drawings.

i think it's going to take you a while to do each copy by hand though...
have you thought about mass producing them? it would be cheaper and less time consuming.

The books don't take too long to make. This was my first attempt at binding and it took under two hours, and as I will get faster and only have to make three books for the show it's not that much time. I've checked lulu and blurb, but they're actually much more expensive than printing & binding the books myself (like four times as much prior to shipping). I may print them in mass for people who want a copy here on DA later on however.
You don't happen to know of a printer which would print the books more cheaply or just the spread, unbound and unfolded, do you?

hmm... you could try asking [link] they usually print stickers/posters etc. for artists but they might be able to help. if you live by a kinkos or another copying/printing store you could go to them. they're usually affordable and they might even be able to do the binding. hope this helps and good luck

I really like this type of binding. It's easy and sturdy if you use a good paper. I'd like to make more books like this.

Looks so nice, even though its quite smaller than I thought it would be, I hope I can buy one depending of the shipping price, would love to have it. Is the illustrations inside all of the ones you posted recently or are the some you haven't / won't post here in there ?

Thank you. I haven't stopped by the post office yet to see how much it would be to ship. I can actually print these up to 10 x 19 inches, but this is a more economic size. Plus, it's cuter XD
This is just a dummy book. I haven't put in all of the drawings that will be apart of the end product. There will be... maybe 6 more spreads? And I think one taken out.
Will I not post the rest here? I suppose you mean as an incentive to get people to buy? Eh, well, I hadn't thought of selling these in the first place XD People just said they wanted copies. I don't know about not posting images...
