Description I didn't use any references for this... though I suppose I should have. The dragon looks like it's based on the skiny asian dragons rather than the plump European ones. I might come back to this project later and use some white charcoal to put in the stars and darken up a flew places if time permits. And, yeah, I know that some areas appear ambiguous... shall fix that later. *sigh* so many projects, I'm working on..... hope you enjoy this

oh well done! you might have to lighten and darken some areas to add contrast, because right now everything's kinda gray and nothing stands out. other than that, it's a good drawing! i admire the shadowing! love the hair; it's done very well! the expression on his face is a bit undefined, but it's still quite well done. and for an unreferenced dragon, it's very well drawn!

Thank you. I kinda got bored of trying to make the background darker and just uploaded in the middle of shading so I'm aware of the poor contrast and shall fix it later and define some things Glad you think the dragon came alright that's the part I was most worried about. Thanks for commenting, and the constructive criticism rocks .

Thank you. I'm glad you like it. I've used pencil for a long time as they are everywhere and cheap so I've learned to put up with 'em I suppose ^__^

Very cool, you did that all in mechanical pencil? That would drive me nuts... I'm a fan of soft lead... hence my hands usually end up black...

Thank you. Yes, all mechanical pencil. It was only 8.5 x 11 so it wasn't so difficult. I usually use softer lead for bigger works, because I have room to smear... if that makes sense.

Thanks. That's the part I was most worried about since I draw people all the time and rarely draw animals without references. So, I'm glad you like it.

Thank you ^__^ I usually use harder leads so that don't smear so much and get all over my hands like the soft ones. Though somethings, on large drawings, I get my hands all covered in charcoal... and that stuff never seems to go away T__T
