Description An early form of dragons, still bearing much resemblance to birds, of which, supposedly, in one theory, they would first emerge from. Well, I can't quite explain, where did the horns come from Perhaps that was just for looks. Or maybe, one way or another.. Either way, in the particular fictional universe, the world, these are the only kind, men have encountered while dragons still existed and drove these creatures away, which really took some effort since these were savage hunters, wanderng from one place to another, luckily, alone most of the time.

The horns? Think about where birds descended - Raptors. Feathers are simply evolved scales meant for aviation and aerodynamics, and generally things that are scaled have horns as well in some cases, so you can rationalize it that way.
If you believe in evolution of course. ^^ You seem like you've got some knowledge on it.

I do know this, I just thought, this would be an early form, of them, so I thought, it would be a bit early for horns, but meh, who knows, evolution is sometimes strange and certainly wonderful thing Also thanks, forpointing out the thing about horns ^^

well, since these creatures sometimes preffer sneaking up to a victim, blending into the background is an advantage for such a creature
