I was just a chillin in my room today, when my mom told me there was a bird in our pool! i have a very soft heart, especially when it comes to small animals, and i ran down to see if i could help. I saw it splashing trying to get out, but by the time i got to it it seemed to have given up and--though afloat--was just sitting there, mostly submerged. Of course i jumped in and scooped him out. For the next half hour he just sat in my hands, shaking and trying to dry off. poor little feller. Try as i might i couldn't get him to hop off! I felt like a disney princess lol. eventually i was able to nudge him away, but i feel like now i have a little birdy friend out there!
