Shot on Dartmoors western fringe looking across Hare tor.This was taken just before the sun set, the raking sunlight highlighting the grasses making for a strong banded contrast.
Shot with a tilt shift lens converted to black and white in lightroom.

This actually isn't something I would normally favorite because of the colors (or lack thereof), but you're right, it does look all penciled - and that's what struck me. It's really interesting.

Yes I Fecking am.... had given up on you though. Sorry that sounds like grudge talk, I just hadn't had a couple of replies to messages on here. I am doing some PS work with Alex and I'll be about and I'll be desperate not to come back straight away, I need to get outta here as much as poss over Christmas. My mates have picked up terrible habits of having families and not doing stuff anymore and the ones who don't have families drink and smoke like there is no tomorrow. Bugger I'm getting old.... I will have holiday to use as well

thanks jake, one that i wasnt sure about in colour as it was so brown but with the high contrast it worked well in b&w, so you're this way after christmas then?

hmmm ive just not been sure what im doing, was going to go to galway but i cant take the dog without passport so it might have to be scotland over christmas, after that and for new year i have friends who've hired a country house so will be spending time there and shooting on the north coast....
