Absolutely gorgeous! It really reminds me of the ancient Celtic tales of Annwn, the land of the dead. What a magical atmosphere... would you let me use this shot as a stock image? I would really like to use it as a book cover for my NaNovel

I dont know why, but it seems to me like a scene from the lord of the rings.

I like it.

Ahh possibly my least favourite features of the moor, so many times i put my foot down and it goes down a lot farther than i wanted! Beautiful light, just wish a bit more of that orange glow was in the water, I'm nit-picking now tho.

I noticed a bit of post-processing weirdness myself too
But it is a beautiful shot regardless

Great moodyness (if thats a word?) and a real sense of "What just happened then??

It looks like the end of the world just happened!!

Plymouth docks blew up and the blast flattened everything for 30 miles...shame that

i knew you'd pick that up...its just the way the cloud was a very bizarre split as the sun came down between it.....

As much as I can believe that to a certain extent, it does look a lot like the processing has compounded the problem. But it doesnt really matter

actually no, the processing is definitely responsible. I cant imagine a scenario where a lower cloud lit by the setting sun would appear brighter than clouds at a higher altitude as well as being colour neutral more or less. You must have done something weird with the blend.
