I get a bit of that too on other sites. I know the medium I use could be seen as very unusual as means to illustrate Tolkien. Some people take it in a bit of negative way. I don't mind though, everyone's entitled to have an opinion )))

Okay. First I also thought that it is too colourful and ...I do not really know a word for it. I had to look closely to see how many materials and details are in your work. unusual describes it very well. I like that, but as you say, everyone has his own opinion, and it is great that you are okay with that.

So beautiful… The way the "seasons" blend around Legolas and Thranduil is lovely, their gestures and expressions have this… pathos to them, like unspoken tragedy. (Also, I love their clothes.)
