...sniffle... yes, this is Samwise and Frodo... sniffle... where they say goodbye in the Grey *sob* Havens... Arguably the most beautiful scene in film history...
...BUT. I want no comments of "THEY'RE GAY!" and the like. If Sam was gay, he would not have married Rosie Cotton, a FEMALE, and produced children. Fact. Sorreh, slash fans
And please excuse the horror that is Sam's face. I had a crappy reference pic so I basically made his face up. Oh well.

One of my sci-fi club friends pointed out that this scene takes about three times as longer than it should cause it's all in slow motion. BUT OMG I DON'T CRY AT FILMS BUT I NEARLY DID IN THIS ONE! Although this drawing is beautiful. You have a real talent!

I love this, the detail is amazing. And I agree, they are NOT gay. They are two heterosexual hobbits. I don't have anything at all again homosexuality, I support it entirely, and I love yaoi, but I hate that if two characters/people show any sort of friendly affection to eachother, they are instantly gay lovers. Blah.
Love the pic, love Sam and Rosie, have my own Frodo/OC character, so shush.

I can see that there is alot of emotion here....you did a VERY good job! I think It's great! Never once when I read the books in high school(which was some time ago, I might add) did I EVER think the two were in some gay relationship....they just cared a great deal for each other....they grew up together, and Sam was told by Gandalf to take care of Frodo, as a sort of punishment for evesdropping on their conversation, although I feel that Gandalf knew that to Sam it would never have felt like a real punishment, because, yes he did Love Frodo....but not that way, but enough to die for him if it came to it, and it almost did.....You did well. Again,GREAT Job!!!

So. True. I think it is the beautiful scene in film history. Definitely the saddest.. I couldn't help myself.. I was in tears during this scene, but had to hold back a bit since my friend (an unfan *growls*) was there too, ahem.
