Prompt #1 : Reaction to Acceptance letter

Damian was not ready to open the expensive looking paper. Its meticulous parchment imbued with fresh press of stamp with the red that reminded him of that day where he lost his other self in the autumn breeze to the land off sea, leaving him no choice but to be the star their beloved nebula wished for. But can he...? Will he be able to? Confident he was, but failure will always be an inch close. Yet NASA has proven, Tridymite can be found even on Mars, far from silicate volcanoes of such Mount St. Helens. Like the leaf, his fate too, like the adventurous probe NASA sent, was bound by the wind of unpredictability.

With the poem lit deep within his memory, he opened the letter and discovered a Tridymite right within his hands.
