Rei flies up, the woman in chase. The dark feelings, the fear, the sadness that Rei felt are all gone. It’s all she can do not to laugh from the exhilaration of flight.

But it will have to wait, she thinks. This is a fight.

They trade attacks, Rei seeming to delight in mirroring whatever the apparition does. But finally, it seems desperate and pulls out a massive spell.

Rei slams herself into it on purpose, catching it before the woman throws it and throwing it, along with the woman, back into the ground, causing an explosion.
