Rei feels like she goes through a pane of glass, but can’t see any shards. She tries to get to her feet, but she gets hit again by another beam to the midsection.

As she falls back, she can see a glowing, golden obelisk that wasn’t there before.

Rei tries to stand, but the woman is now flying on three wings, and gathering energy from a magical circle, and she blasts Rei again, much harder.

“Thank you for coming. I couldn’t break that barrier without you here. First, I’ll claim your body.. and then I will claim that relic.”
