True, I kind of like to focus on more happy stuff, because in general I want to bring some bit of joy to people with my art - life has plenty of sad stuff going on, so it's nice to have that little "happy" window. That said you're right, art should focus on various of themes and carry on all the spectrum of emotions.

Yeah, I agree, but it can be kinda tiring seeing nothing but smiling faces all the time , and sometimes sadder art can have a consoling effect, or give you a new perspective on things.

Starlight was forgivable. Her redemption was a big deal and served an obvious plot purpose.
Then Trixie came back. It's obvious the writers are doing it on purpose, now.

Actually, I like Starlight, her redemption was done in fine fashion is you ask me. As for Trixie...oh man, Trixie. "No Second Prances" single-handedly made me dislike Trixie so much...
