This and the other dinosaur pictures are great man, and I like the lack of colour and just sharp black contrast; makes me think as if a caveman could have scratched it out on a wall or used some burnt charcoal or something to make it (I know they lived millions of years apart but still, the idea is fun )
I was under the impression that Raptors had feathers though?

hahaha thanks. Welp, I suppose there is a theory about that some dinosaurs have feathers, would raptors have them? it's possible, I can't say I was doing a research on most recent discoveries when it comes to dinosaurs, so I draw them how I always thought of them first and foremost

One is bad
A pack of them is a death wish
A horde of them is the end times
An empire of them... we're screwed

Like if you had to ask xD One day when to idea comes although there is already one creative fellow that shared quite few "my little dino" ideas with me, so yeah, I will definetely try something

Thank Jeff Goldblum you went with the original designs over the ones with feathers or the ones with Mohawks from......that Jurassic Park sequel that no one likes to mention(hint: It's the one with the Giant Duck dinosaur killing the T-Rex).

hahaha yeah, I can't help it but I can't really picture featherd dinosaurs, it may be more accurate depiction - well, at least in regard to some species - but it simply doesn't resonate with me

Isseus In reply to saturdaymorningproj [2016-06-27 20:58:41 +0000 UTC]

but...but isn't the jurassic period old skool enough for you, sempai? Heck, even the word "raptor" means BIRD of prey.

I love it how your icon matches the sentence you write xD

Aside from that, eh, I think dinosaurs look cooler without feathers

I presume he means 'old' as in our older understanding, that which was used in the first jurrasic park movie and others about it's time, because it was disputed at the time (iirc) and they though that the more lizardy or crocodilian look was scarier/cooler than a "big chicken"

Isseus In reply to Infrasonicman [2016-06-28 09:15:46 +0000 UTC]

Sure, it was more common in popular culture, and let's be honest, a two-feet tall chicken is hardly as scary as the featherless Utahraptors in the movies.

I just wanted to be a smart-alec.
