Apple / Macintosh quilt for someone special's birthday! Made entirely with polyester/satin as that is the fabric they wanted, all the apples were painstakingly made by me, and they are trying to fall off! (but I've fixed that I think) I can't really sew them since the fabric tends to fray so they were ironed on with a special material, but some just wouldn't stay so I have also used some fabric glue.

In this photo it is laying on my full size bed, but is not really large enough for a fullsize (doesn't hang over the sides) this is because my friend's bed is a single size bed. Each square is approx. 9"X13" the size of my MacBook, and all the logos are approx the correct size also!!

The backing is two long pieces of black satin... I was thinking of making either a large apple logo for the back, or a star trek one (another fav of theirs) but decided against it, partially because of time! XD
I chose red as the center square to break up the black/white, and it's kind of fitting since the applecare box has red on it! lol

Apple Logos belong to Apple/Macintosh, but this blanket was handmade by me entirely!
There is also a small Star Trek logo (copyright to rightful owners) on it for my friend, and a rabbit on it as my "signature" for making it.
