It's meant to be a more grown up Hotaru with a different hairstyle, but I understand that she looks a bit like Rei, too

Anyway, I didn't even start drawing for the contest until this piece the other day. I suddenly felt inspired, maybe since I had recently curled just the ends of my hair like this lol... idk if I'll finish the other required drawings for the contest so I thought I'd upload it.
*I'm talking about Miss Universe contest*

I know the coloring isn't the best, IMO the sketches always look better to me I didn't want to overdo the colors though, making the hair too dark might have taken away from being able to really see the curls I thought.
I did color her skin as well but lightly so... all done in colored pencil. I actually didn't even look at any Hotaru pics to do this... in any case I think she looks pretty.
I wanted to give her a more mature yet elegant look.
