Aluminum wire and Tin foil skeleton, and layered with Sculpey.

Not bad with this one! I'd not gloss the entire thing next time, leave the "feather" area with a bit more texture, you know? Regardless, nice to see people trying this out!

Thanks for the tip! The selection of paints and baking glaze was a bit limited, but I will keep that in mind. ^_^

What did you use to make this, hun? I've wanted to have a go at making one for a while and have no idea what to use! haha!

Its a polymer clay called Sculpey that can be molded and baked in a conventional oven to harden. You can get it at any hobby store and Walmart (Paints and crafts section). I love this stuff, and I am working on taking commissions to make figurines. Details are in my profile page. ^_^

Sculpey's not very expensive. About $5 for a 1 pound box of white at Walmart.
As for my commissions, all figurines I will charge $20.00 per character. They will be no taller than 6 inches, and they require a postage of 8.00 for box and packaging.

Heh, I don't do this regularly, so making a tutorial for that will be exceedingly hard.
But thanks for the comment. I'm glad you like this. ^_^

Oh wow it turned out really good! It looks really smooth and well put together as well as the neat finish.
I'd love to get my hands on some of this sculpey stuff.

Its easy to get. You can get some at Hobby Lobby or Walmart. Hobby Lobby has a bigger selection. I just used a box of white Sculpey that was like $8, and I still have lots left over.
